Forest People and Pit Vipers

Pitcher plant. I believe this one's a southpaw.

The darling, ginger, endangered orangutan’s name translates as forest person. I feel like that would get confusing, as there must be actual forest people. Maybe it’s a shot at them by the city folk that they look like apes. If so, I’m not sure I approve.

Only in Kuching for a little over a day but had a chance to watch the forest people stuff bananas into their faces at a nearby preserve and to meet a pit viper (at top) on the side of a trail. We shared secrets. His were better.
